We invite you to send your photos to WFRM, and after they've been shown on the front page, they'll be here to review.

We would like to thank Ruth Shuckers Metcalf for sending us these pictures of elk on Route 255 just south of Penfield.

Bruce Brooks has been blessed to have these beautiful rhododendrons growing in his front lawn

Nancy Thomas of Little Marsh sends us some photos of a group of neighbors who stopped by to visit

Just passing the time of day.

She can hear your watch ticking...she knows you're there...don't kid yourself.

"Thanks for the nice meal!"

Looks like they made it through the winter in pretty good shape!    Thanks, Nancy!

2007 Great Out Doors

Nature's Tapestry In The Great Outdoors

Sherry Clark captured these memorable scenes before the snow fell or blew off where it had fallen.  This is the Horvath Farm

If you can't look at this and continue to be amazed at the beauty of nature, our sympathy to you.

You must be a dried up old prune.

Eat your hearts out, Flatlanders!

No artist could create a scene like this one that Almighty God gave to us.  Enjoy, Enjoy.

"Night-Time Critter Caper" by Chris Brennen of Shinglehouse.  Isn't this outstanding!.  We live in this critter's  world, not the opposite.

"King Solomon in all his glory....." couldn't match the lilies of the field, or this astounding sight.

Bill and Caroline Powers saw beauty and captured it for us all to enjoy.

Although the colors are gone, the memories linger on.

Thanks to Margaret Caldwell for this photo of an Ayers Hill Barn.

Ayers Hill Sunrise, by Margaret Caldwell

The Clarks of Bark Shanty Hollow share a sunrise with us.

"I just wanted to thank you for continuously posting photos and news on the website.  I grew up near Coudersport, (and even worked for the WFRM station for a while in high school) and love to keep updated by visiting your website. I moved to North Carolina nearly 3 years ago and when I feel home tugging at my heart I always visit your website.  The pictures are my favorite especially as the seasons change.  I got my fill of true autumn splendor, and now I visit to enjoy the beauty of the snow.  It often brings tears to my eyes just to be able to see my hometown.  I certainly miss a good old snow storm on days like today (it will be in the mid 70s here today).  Thanks so much for making it easy to stay updated through pictures and the web stream.  It means so much to have a piece of home at my fingertips!

Next, Greg Doane shares photos of a Bald Eagle

I finally saw my first Potter County Bald Eagle today.......up Lanniger Creek.  I watched him from the road for nearly two hours and when I finally decided to get a little closer, he flew off.  Sorry the pics aren't any clearer.......he was a good ways away.  Still a thrill, tho!

I took these the afternoon of 10/16 in Costello (behind Ripple Trailer park) I thought you might like to share them with your readers. I would estimate him at 300 lbs...

These Bobcats were seen in the field by the ABC Motel, near Burtville.  Thanks to Terry and Betty for this wonderful photo.
