It’s been more than two months since Coudersport native Patrick Ryan was murdered in either Clarion or Forest County and today Clarion County authorities are investigating the third murder to occur this year. Kristopher Mills, 21, of Pittsburgh died from a single gunshot wound to back at during what police call a “home invasion” between 8:00 and 9:00 p.m. at a residence just south of Clarion. Ryan, 30, was last seen alive at a Clarion bar on the night of August 13. He was reported missing when he failed to arrive at his girlfriend’s residence in New Jersey on August 15. He had just completed graduate work at Clarion University and was moving after accepting a teaching position at Bucks County Community College. His body was found about a week later in a remote area of Forest County. In an unrelated case, Jesse McFadden, 20, remains jailed on homicide charges for the April death of 46 year old Anthony Back of Parker, PA.

What an awesome creature! This eagle was seen in Coudersport, near the Adelphia school building recently. Thanks to Marty Weiss for sharing this photo. |
| Thank-you to our listeners for their help in supporting our efforts, along with those of our sister station, WQRM-FM/ SAM106 in Smethport as we collected much needed items for those who lost everything when Katrina devastated the gulf region.
